I am very HAPPY to share my vision for CHILDREN with you.

I believe all children are UNIQUE INDIVIDUALS who have the right to have their needs met, the right to play, to be treated with respect and ‘not discriminated against on the bias of gender, age, race, religion, language, ability, culture or national origin’.

Educators with Hatchling House Family Day Care offer a SAFE HOME environment for all children to have the OPPORTUNITY to EXPERIENCE a stimulating, aesthetically pleasing environment offering age-appropriate activities for each child to develop and LEARN at their own pace.

As an approved provider of Hatchling House Family Day Care, I am committed to offering a high-quality professional service to meet the needs of the community. I have 30 years experience in Childcare, 2 years in long day care, and a total of 13 years in Family Day Care as an educator, with 4 years in the Sunshine Coast and 9 years in Caboolture and 2 years as a coordinator in a Family Day Care Service.

Our educators

Our Educators offer a unique and quality child care service, which relies on educators, coordinators and parents to work in partnership to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Our Training

Our Training provides educators with child protection, communication, monthly catch up’s, ability for online training and support with formal qualifications.

Our Programs

Our programs include weekly and monthly play sessions for children to interact with other children and adults within varied environments while participating in experiences within the community.

Each child’s individual needs are the focus for specific play experiences as outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework.

Childcare can be a hard/emotional career choice and having the right Scheme to support you as an Educator means that you can focus on the nitty-gritty of your work……… Educating Children. Hatchling House supports their Educators in a manner that helps them to support your child to “Belong, Be and Become” strong confident little individuals.

Having worked in the childcare field for a considerable time, one thing that I appreciate about the Hatchling House FDC’s Team is their responsiveness and commitment to Families and Educators utilising their Service, while always putting the needs of children foremost at the front of all decisions.

As an early years educator with HHFDC I am offered the support from the HQ staff and Educational leaders to be able to successfully achieve the points of my personal philosophy and from the time that I came on board I have been given constant support and assistance in making my business and myself as an educator the best that it can be.

HQ not only offer support by making regular visits to my home, providing quality training both in house and out-sourced for all educators, organized play session outings and play sessions at the newly built playground on HQ Grounds, toy library, and so much more… But most importantly the HQ staff provide the educators with an ear, this along with their knowledgeable years of experiences and advice, great methods and their passion for the early years creates a fantastic working platform and provide the best learning outcomes for the children in care.
